Auditions

The Southern California Philharmonic currently has openings for oboe, percussion, and all strings for our 2009-2010 season.

To request an audition time, applicants must:

1) New applicants should submit a performance resume including your name, instrument, and contact information to us via email (info@socalphil.org) or regular mail (click here for contact information). Returning members do not need to submit a resume, but must still audition for seating.

2) New applicants should prepare the Admission Audition Repertoire for your instrument as listed below. Returning members may prepare a piece of their choice for their seating audition. Choose something that you feel comfortable with and displays your level of performance.

3) We will contact you schedule your audition time. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled time to sign-in. A general warm-up room will be available for all auditionees prior to their audition.
